A Narromine community organisation is calling out to members of the Aboriginal community to open their hearts and become foster carers.

Ngurambang Out-of-Home-Care (OOHC) service which recently launched in Dubbo, Wellington and Narromine needs more Aboriginal foster carers to support the local Aboriginal children in out-of-home care.

About one-third of children in care across Australia are Aboriginal but there are not enough Aboriginal carers to support them and their cultural identity.
