The old saying “home is where the heart is” could be the key to caring for millions of Australian baby boomers now hitting their senior years.

It’s an approach that would see more seniors getting the support they need to stay in their own homes – and long-term care homes themselves evolving away from the traditional institutionalised model into one with a home-like atmosphere offering more individual freedom and choice.
